Dr. Gopalakrishna Sharma, or SharmaG as he is popularly called by his peers, was born and brought up in Karamana, Trivandrum, a quintessential society where Vedic culture is still thriving and alive.  He was fascinated by the ancient wisdom of Vedas and the mysteries of occult sciences since his childhood.  He joined the Indian Air Force at a young age and served for 12 years, but he felt a strong calling to follow his spiritual path and left the service at the age of 28.  He then worked in the IT sector for a while, but soon realized that his true vocation was to be a full-time Vedic Astrology consultant.

SharmaG continued his passion for Vedic Astrology by studying from various books and other sources and getting trained by Shri. SSR Sarma, a Sanskrit scholar and Astrologer, who taught him unique and simple ways of interpreting horoscopes and prasna.  In 2006, he had a divine encounter with his Guru Shri. Suresh Panicker, a great scholar and an eminent Astrologer, who transformed his life. SharmaG's enthusiasm for exploring Vedas and Astrology reached new heights and he decided to leave his IT career as well and dedicate himself to Vedic Astrology.  He became a full-time Vedic Astrology Consultant at the age of 35. 

SharmaG now travels around the world, spreading facts, wisdom and benefits of Vedic Astrology through workshops, group sessions, astral counselling and consultations across countries.
